Haley Stampp photograph

This photo was taken with a large format camera a few years ago. I really enjoyed composing this shot and I was pleased with the outcome since it looked much as I imagined it would when I first came out with the idea.
This corn field is at my parent's farm and the 2 girls pictured are my nieces Ella and Hazel. They significantly remind me of me and my sister growing up.

Vinyl on Ceramics
I'm gonna send you over to the eStudio Blog ... cuz I did a great post there. Finished project forthcoming, but it was really fun to set up a "process post" with pictures at each step of my process!
Seriously though, click on that link and check out the whole process!

Pizza Luce box and a pencil
negative leather...thanks iPad filter
these are some leather scraps that were sitting on my desk. I've been crafting some leather goods recently and finding the line between artistry and craft... I do love both. although this is probably a far cry from what my piece will be for the show, I thought it was a fun picture.

1.5 months out
I have the absolute privilege of creating a show with some of the coolest people ever, and I can't wait to see pictures here of their works in progress, process, etc. Let me begin with this shot of an embroidery that I didn't quite center on the fabric:
I am Jennica Kruse, and I make art in embroidery and clay among other things. A lot of my work has a digital aspect, and is created using the machines found in the eStudio at the University of Minnesota.
