I've been experimenting with some fun new materials:

Bubble wrap works surprisingly well to sew on. No popping noises...too bad!

these are some leather scraps that were sitting on my desk.  I've been crafting some leather goods recently and finding the line between artistry and craft... I do love both.  although this is probably a far cry from what my piece will be for the show, I thought it was a fun picture.

Sometimes art is meditative....lines wander across an empty space, space pulses with vague energies...and sometimes art is vegetative!!!

1.5 months out

I have the absolute privilege of creating a show with some of the coolest people ever, and I can't wait to see pictures here of their works in progress, process, etc. Let me begin with this shot of an embroidery that I didn't quite center on the fabric:

I am Jennica Kruse, and I make art in embroidery and clay among other things. A lot of my work has a digital aspect, and is created using the machines found in the eStudio at the University of Minnesota.
